There are a variety of conservatory types available from Glevum:
- Sun rooms or garden rooms: A garden room can blend seamlessly in with a smaller, modern property bringing in the light all year round. These designs are often made to maximise space in a restricted area or in a section of a property that has height restrictions.
- Traditional styles: A traditional styled conservatory can echo one of many elegant design styles – Victorian, Edwardian or Georgian with different choices of gable fronts and pitched roofs.
- Contemporary: A contemporary styled conservatory can be a great way of bringing light into a modern space whether such an extension is used for dining, relaxing or even space for a gym or swimming pool.
- Orangery: A design that brings together the lightness of double-glazed windows with additional brick built pillars and wall sections to blend in with the existing property. Often a feature of a more traditional home, these designs are becoming increasingly popular.
3 or 5 Facet Victorian The 3 or 5 facet style is a classic Victorian conservatory. Its versatility and pleasing aesthetics make it suitable for almost all applications. |
Gable front A Gable-fronted conservatory offers a distinctive alternative. When combined with a steeper pitched glass roof, they offer stunning looks that are unsurpassed. |
Georgian / Edwardian Georgian / Edwardian conservatories offer a clean and simple look with strong bold lines. The hip fronted corners of the Georgian / Edwardian style conservatory give the optimum space for a given plan area and maximise the interior floor space. |
Lean-to The ‘Lean-to’ conservatory is also known as a sunroom, garden room or Mediterranean conservatory. They are particularly suitable for bungalows or houses with height restrictions. |
Box Gutter The utilisation of a box gutter allows the addition of a Victorian-style conservatory to an even wider range of dwellings. A box gutter allows the conservatory to abut the existing dwelling wall or to simultaneously drain the existing house and conservatory roof. |
‘T’ shape Victorian The T-shape Victorian allows maximisation of space and gives an attractive symmetrical appearance. A central projection highlights the shape and creates a ‘porch’ effect to the conservatory. |
