How do Corded Integral Blinds for windows and doors work?
Our double-glazed windows and doors are now available with maintenance-free corded integral blinds, depending on size. These blinds provide shade and privacy without maintenance. The innovative system is integrated between two high-quality glazing panes.
Glevum integral Venetian blinds offer full control over light, heat, and privacy, and fit seamlessly into uPVC and aluminium frames.
These corded Integral Blinds use a patented magnetic system enabling the manual operation of the Venetian blinds integrated between the two glazing panels.
With this system, the raising, lowering and tilting of the blind slats is achieved using a rotational magnetic transmission through the glass, thus guaranteeing the double-glazed unit's hermetic seal.
Two sets of magnets work together to provide this functionality - one is inserted in the blind head rail (within the glass unit of the window or door), and the other is applied to the external glass surface.
